Helping children feel good about themselves is central to building self-esteem. Research with children and adolescents reveals that feeling good is based on the support kids receive in their primary relationships:  with their parents and siblings at home; with teachers in school, and with peers in social interactions.

Our publications report what children say their parents, teachers, and peers can do to help them be happy, well adjusted, and successful learners.
